Be Good or Be Gone Media is pleased to present,  Pushing Boundaries: UConn's First NBA Player

a film documenting the life of athlete and music executive Worthy Patterson. While at the University of Connecticut, Patterson was the first Black team captain in school history. He then became the first UConn player in the NBA and one of the first Black players to integrate the 1957 St. Louis Hawks. This historical narrative chronicles Patterson’s achievements and life as a Black person

overcoming the discrimination and racism before, during, and after the civil rights movement.
